Tendu Vegan Stretch Canvas Ballet Shoes
Stretch Canvas Vegan Ballet shoe with elasticated binding, pre-sewn crossover elastics, elastic under the arch, and non leather sole. Available in Full and Split sole variations
Sizing- Please Note. Adult sizes 3 upwards seem to run fairly true to UK size, but sizes below this come up quite small. For children's sizes we would suggest ordering at least 2 sizes bigger than your usual UK size.

I knew the sizing was going to be a little strange as mentioned so I ordered a 6 and 7 to try as my daughter is a size 4.5. Both pairs were too small and very tight width ways too. So I then ordered an 8 and 9.5 (9 was out of stock) we thought the 9.5 seemed ok. A whole 5 sizes bigger!! But when she wore them for a little while she had really deep marks in her foot and said how uncomfortable they were. Although they appeared to get longer, the width of the shoes didn’t seem to change much across all 4 pairs that I bought. She is really petite and she doesn’t have wide feet at all so I’m not sure why. Although I’m really disappointed in the fit of these shoes and the difficulty in choosing the correct size Amanda’s customer service was great throughout so thank you. The struggle to find vegan, full soled shoes for younger dancers is absolutely crazy and I’m grateful that these are stocked even though they didn’t work for us.
Thank you for your honest review. We have really struggled with the sizing of these slippers in the children's sizes up to adult size 4. Added to that is the challenge of buying online. Our manufacturer has identified a problem with the pattern and is working to rectify this in our next batch, so hopefully we will sort it soon. All I can do is recommend people buy several pairs bigger than they think, and return any they don't want.
These are good little shoes for my toddler. The only issue is the sizing is very strange. She's now wearing a pair 3 sizes bigger than her normal shoes. Excellent customer service, though. The team were very quick and efficient to help me figure out which shoes to get.
Thank you so much for the review. Yes, we agree that the sizing is a mystery to us also, and we will work with the factory to improve it on our next batch. In the meantime, I suggest that anyone ordering sizes for tiny girls, up to size 12.5 should opt for 3 full sizes bigger, and fro size 12.5-3.5, order 2 sizes bigger.
My experience was overall very positive. As explained in the description shoes are very small, so definitely order a few sizes up (I went 4 sizes bigger on 2nd order). As it was a second order, I received a phone call to offer advice with sizing, etc. It was a really nice gesture and really put me (as the customer) first. Was very impressed. Thank you
Thank you so much for your review. I am sorry about the sizing not being great - we are trying making a point of calling everybody now to check that they are happy with what size they’re ordering as we realise it creates difficulties for people.. we also invite people to call us,. We hope to get this sorted with our next batch, but we are very pleased with the shoes themselves. We Look forward to welcome you back someday soon
These shoes are great and come with the elastic ready sewn which is great but they do come up very very small. My daughter wears a size 11 usually and the size 13 are a snug fit so we’ll need a bigger size soon. The sizing is a little confusing in that way and the sole is slightly slippy for her but to find vegan ballet shoes and have really great customer service makes them worth while!
I’m delighted with these. I particularly like the support they give under the ball of the foot. I initially had a bit of a problem working out which size I needed, but Amanda at BalletPro was incredibly helpful; I went up one size from normal
I’m so glad you found the right size and that you’re happy with them. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. It means such a lot to us!
